So, here it is finally, the recommendation that everyone has been waiting for. It's quite late, I know *sighs*, but it is here finally. So, this weeks rec is for Nauticalmass' Leaves of Grass.
As the Major and I don't read time pieces very much, we were absolutley drawn in to this one. It is rich with history that has been accurately introduced into her plot. The one thing that I love is in her author notes, she explains the history and if something doesn't match up within the history she does her best to explain the difference. It is a wonderful story, well written, and completely encompassin'. It's hard not to visualize what she has written and *lets out a tinklin' giggle* not fall in love with this story.
Bella is thrust back into 1863 through her dreams, while the Major is still human. It's apparent that there is somethin' there between the two of them but the war rips them apart. Sadly, the only thing keepin' them together is the letters they begin to share. It's truly an amazin' story... *whispers* Bella gets the sweet side of the Major and I get the... *laughs*
